Fees & limits

Fees & limits

One margin, inside the rate. Plus whatever the blockchain charges to move coins.

What you pay

Our margin is built into the rate you are quoted. It is the difference between what we
can source the swap for and what we quote you — so the amount shown on the quote is the
amount that reaches your address. Nothing is deducted afterwards and no separate service
charge appears at the end.

Network fees are charged by the blockchains, not by us. There are two: what you pay to
send your deposit (set by your own wallet), and what it costs to deliver the swapped coins
to you (already accounted for in your quote). Neither is money we keep.

That's the whole cost. Creating an order, tracking it, opening a support thread and
receiving a refund are all free.

Limits

Every pair has a minimum and a maximum, and both move.

The minimum exists because a swap has to be worth more than the network fees needed to
execute it — below that threshold you would receive less than you sent. The maximum
reflects the liquidity actually available for that pair at that moment.

The quote form always shows the live limits for the pair you have selected. An order above
a certain value may be held briefly for a manual check before it executes.

Fixed vs floating

  • Fixed rate — the amount is locked when you create the order. Deposit before the quote

expires and that is exactly what you receive. Slightly wider margin, because the rate risk
between quote and settlement sits with us.

  • Floating rate — follows the market until your deposit confirms. Tighter margin, but

the final amount can land above or below the estimate.

What can change the amount you receive

  • Depositing less than quoted — the swap is recalculated for what arrived, or refunded

if it falls under the pair's minimum.

  • Depositing after the quote expires — the locked rate no longer applies.
  • Choosing floating and the market moving while your deposit confirms.
  • Network congestion on the receiving chain, which raises the delivery fee.

Refunds are returned to the refund address supplied on the order, less the network fee
required to send them.
