Terms of service
Terms of service
The agreement between you and Kryptfi when you use this service.
By creating an order on Kryptfi you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not
use the service.
1. What the service is
Kryptfi is a cryptocurrency exchange service. You send one asset and receive another at a
rate quoted before you commit. We are not a bank, a broker, a custodian or an investment
service, we do not offer financial advice, and we do not hold balances on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to use a service of
this kind where you are. You are responsible for knowing whether that is the case. Do not
use the service where it is prohibited.
3. Your responsibilities
- Addresses. You supply the receiving address and the refund address. Blockchain
transactions cannot be reversed, and an address typed incorrectly sends your funds to
whoever holds it. Verify both before confirming.
- Networks. Sending an asset on the wrong network is frequently unrecoverable by
anyone, including us.
- Lawfulness. You confirm the funds are yours and are not the proceeds of crime.
- Your reference. Keep it. It is how the order is identified.
4. Orders, quotes and expiry
A quote is valid for a stated period. Deposit within it and a fixed-rate quote is honoured
as shown. After expiry the rate no longer applies and the order may be re-quoted or
refunded. A floating-rate order settles at the market rate when your deposit confirms.
Deposits below the pair's minimum, or arriving after an order has closed, are handled as
refunds rather than swaps.
5. Refunds
Where a swap cannot complete, funds are returned to the refund address supplied on that
order, less the network fee required to send them. Refunds are not available on completed
swaps: once coins are delivered to your address, the transaction is final.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Kryptfi to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, move the
proceeds of fraud, theft or ransomware, or for any other unlawful purpose. We screen
addresses against sanctions and known-fraud data and may refuse, delay or hold any order on
that basis, and may report as required by law.
7. Availability
The service depends on third-party liquidity providers and public blockchains. Pairs may
become unavailable, and providers or networks may fail or stall. We do not guarantee
uninterrupted availability or a specific completion time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kryptfi is not liable for losses arising from: an
address or network you supplied incorrectly; blockchain congestion, forks, reorganisations
or failures; the acts or failures of third-party liquidity providers; market movement on a
floating-rate order; or your own device or wallet being compromised.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published here when you create
an order. Material changes take effect on publication.
